Congratulations Go Out to Our Shido Grapplers!
They Tested Their Skills at the 2006 National Amateur Grappling Association (NAGA) Tournament
NAGA Tournament August 26, 2006

ANTHONY
Another great showing by someone we forget is a kid sometimes due to his mature outlook. Anthony was challenged in a division with kids bigger and older than him. What invaluable experience at a young age! I think every Shidokan black and brown belt has worked one on one with or showed Anthony a technique or two over the past many years so we should all feel especially proud of this fine young karateka!
GERRY
As you know, Gerry defines perseverance. He competed hard and took his training to a new level. His commitment to be there was a huge step in his continuing development. Way to go Gerry!
KAELEE
Being ready to go in a short amount of time and being her tremendous focused self! It's a true pleasure to watch her continue to dominate all kids at or near her weight class!
BAYDON
Fastest standing rear naked choke on record in the Gi grappling against a kid who narrowly defeated him in the NoGi competition. He had many matches and showed great physical stamina and speed throughout!
MARCELLO
He accumulated points with multiple throws. The ability to overcome injuries allowed him to win some close matches!
AMY
Tremendous spirit in not tapping out to much more experienced grapplers. In classic 'Amy' fashion, she rose to the occasion once her matches began!
EMILY
She had to fight all boys in the 14-year old division and clearly surprise one with a solid takedown! Great attitude all day long!
JULIAN
Great positive attitude who surprised the instructors by signing up first and taking his training to a new level.
SHARON "SHARE BEAR"
Last but not least young Sharon (a white belt) had the best attitude, learned faster than anyone, showed great natural instincts, and even won a samurai sword in the NoGi division!!!
